Image Cropper
Crop to any aspect ratio
What is Image Cropper?
Crop any image to a custom region or a preset aspect ratio. Drag the crop box to reposition and the corner handle to resize — the preview updates live, so you can line up faces, logos, or product shots precisely. Supports free-form crops plus 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 9:16, and several other common ratios for social media and print. Input can be JPG, PNG, or WebP, and the output keeps the original format.
How do I use Image Cropper?
- Drop an image onto the upload zone.
- Pick a preset aspect ratio, or leave it on Free for an unconstrained crop.
- Drag the crop box to reposition, or drag the bottom-right corner to resize it.
- Click Download to save the cropped image.
When should I use Image Cropper?
Use Image Cropper when you want to keep only part of an image. If you just want to shrink the whole frame, use Image Resizer. For removing just the background rather than cropping rectangularly, use Background Remover.
Can I crop to a specific aspect ratio?
Yes. Pick a preset like 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, or 9:16, or leave it on Free for an unconstrained crop.
Does cropping lose quality?
No. Cropping only discards pixels outside the crop region — the pixels that remain are identical to the source. Output is re-encoded in the same format as the input.
Can I undo a crop?
The tool does not overwrite your original — it produces a new file on download. Keep the original if you want to re-crop with different bounds.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device, and there is no server component for this tool.
