Converters, calculators, generators

Everyday converters and calculators: physical units (length, weight, volume, temperature, speed, area), time zones with live clocks, date differences, age-from-birthdate, percentage calculations with four common question formats, binary/decimal/hex/octal base conversion, arbitrary-base conversion (2-36), cryptographically strong random number generation, and live currency conversion using a free public FX API with 24-hour browser-side cache. All run offline (except the currency fetch) and give instant results.

Choosing between these tools

For **physical units**, Unit Converter covers length, weight, volume, temperature, speed, and area. For **number bases**, Binary ↔ Decimal handles the four common bases in a four-way synchronized UI; Base Convert handles any base from 2 to 36. For **time**, Timezone Converter compares live clocks across zones; Timestamp Converter handles Unix↔ISO; Date Difference and Age Calculator compute intervals. For **percentages**, Percent Calc has a four-mode UI. For **random values**, Random Number uses crypto-grade randomness. For **money**, Currency Converter pulls live rates daily.

Frequently asked
Are the currency rates real-time?

They're daily mid-market rates from a free public API, cached in your browser for 24 hours. For high-precision financial work, use a dedicated FX feed — this tool is designed for everyday "how much is that in my currency?" lookups.

Is the random number generator secure?

Yes — it uses crypto.getRandomValues() with rejection sampling to avoid modulo bias. Safe for lottery picks, draws, and cryptographic randomness.

How does Date Difference count business days?

It excludes weekends but not public holidays (which are region-specific and out of scope). For strict business-day maths in a specific region, cross-check with that region's calendar.

What time-zone names do these tools use?

IANA time-zone IDs (e.g. "Asia/Kolkata", "America/New_York"). Timezone Converter has an autocomplete over the full IANA list so you don't have to remember exact names.

Are any of these tools uploading my files?

No. Every tool in this category runs entirely in your browser. Files you drop in are processed locally, never sent to a server, and discarded when you leave the page.
