Watermark Adder
Add text or logo watermark
What is Watermark Adder?
Add a text watermark to any image to mark ownership, label a draft, or tag a shared preview. You pick the text, position (nine anchor points or a diagonal tile), font size (as a % of the image), colour, opacity, and padding. Everything renders through Canvas so the output remains a clean JPG, PNG, or WebP. Great for photographers, designers, and anyone sharing unfinished work.
How do I use Watermark Adder?
- Drop an image onto the upload zone.
- Type the watermark text — e.g. "© Your Brand" or "DRAFT".
- Choose a corner anchor or enable "Tile diagonally" for a repeating pattern.
- Adjust font size, colour, opacity, and padding until the watermark reads clearly.
- Click Download to save the watermarked image.
When should I use Watermark Adder?
Image Watermark adds ownership text. If you want to stamp text onto every page of a PDF instead, use PDF Watermark. For logo-image watermarks, paste the logo into a design tool first, then export as a watermarked PNG and layer it here.
Can I use text or an image as the watermark?
Yes — the tool supports both. Use text for copyright lines and URLs, or upload a PNG (ideally with transparency) for a logo watermark.
Can I adjust the watermark position and opacity?
Yes. Pick one of nine anchor positions (corners, edges, centre) and drag the opacity slider from 10% to 100%.
Can a watermark be removed by someone else?
A visible watermark is a deterrent, not a lock. Determined users can crop or clone it out. For provable ownership, register the original image or use invisible steganographic watermarking (not offered here).
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device, and there is no server component for this tool.
