Text Summarizer
Condense long text
Text Summarizer is on the roadmap. In the meantime, explore the other ai-powered.
What is Text Summarizer?
Condense long text — articles, meeting transcripts, research papers, customer feedback — into a short summary with the main points preserved. Pick how aggressive the summary should be (short, medium, or detailed) and whether you want bullet points or a paragraph. Runs in-browser via a small language model so the source text never leaves your device.
How do I use Text Summarizer?
- Paste the long text into the input panel.
- Pick summary length (short, medium, detailed) and format (bullets or paragraph).
- Click Summarize.
- Copy the result.
When should I use Text Summarizer?
Text Summarizer is for shortening prose. To paraphrase rather than shorten, use Paraphraser. For PDF summaries with page-level extraction, use PDF Summarizer. For raw word/character stats, use Word Counter.
How long can the input be?
Tens of thousands of words work fine. The tool chunks long inputs and stitches the result; very long technical documents (full books, dense research papers) may need to be summarized in sections for best fidelity.
Can I get bullet points instead of a paragraph?
Yes — pick "Bullet points" as the format. Useful for meeting notes, key-takeaways lists, and anywhere visual scanning matters.
Will the summary include facts that were not in the source?
No, by design. The tool is constrained to the source text. If accuracy matters, always verify any specific fact against the original — language models can occasionally paraphrase imprecisely.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device, and there is no server component for this tool.
