Image Enhancer
AI upscaling & cleanup
Image Enhancer is on the roadmap. In the meantime, explore the other ai-powered.
What is Image Enhancer?
Improve photo quality with an in-browser AI model — sharpens detail, denoises, and corrects basic exposure issues, all without an upload. Best on smartphone photos taken in low light, scanned old prints, or compressed JPGs that lost their crispness. Runs the same super-resolution stack as Image Upscaler with extra polish steps.
How do I use Image Enhancer?
- Drop a photo onto the upload zone.
- Wait while the enhancement model runs locally (a few seconds per megapixel).
- Compare the before / after preview.
- Click Download to save the enhanced image.
When should I use Image Enhancer?
Image Enhancer is for visual quality. To increase resolution specifically, use Image Upscaler. For colour or tone adjustments, use Color Adjuster. To remove the background entirely, use Background Remover.
What is "enhancement" exactly?
A combination of denoise, sharpen, and gentle exposure correction — not a full creative re-render. The result looks like the original photo on a better day rather than something AI-imagined.
How long does enhancement take?
A few seconds per megapixel on a modern laptop. The first run downloads the model (~30 MB) and is cached for subsequent runs.
Best for which kinds of images?
Smartphone photos in low light, scanned old prints, compressed JPGs that lost detail. Less helpful for high-quality DSLR photos that already look clean.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device, and there is no server component for this tool.
