PDF Signer
Basic e-signature
PDF Signer is on the roadmap. In the meantime, explore the other pdf tools.
What is PDF Signer?
Add a basic visual signature to a PDF — type your name in a signature font, draw with a mouse / trackpad / stylus, or upload a transparent-PNG signature image. Place it on any page at any size. Useful for quick informal signing — agreement acknowledgements, internal forms, delivery sign-offs. For legally-binding e-signatures with audit trails and identity verification, use a dedicated service like DocuSign.
How do I use PDF Signer?
- Drop a PDF onto the upload zone.
- Pick a signature mode: Type, Draw, or Upload.
- Place the signature on the page (drag to reposition, drag the corner to resize).
- Click Download to save the signed PDF.
When should I use PDF Signer?
PDF Signer is for visual signatures. To watermark every page (e.g. "DRAFT") instead, use PDF Watermark. For password-locked recipient access, use Password Protector. For long-term integrity, use Metadata Editor to set author / title fields.
Are these signatures legally binding?
They are visual signatures — fine for casual agreements (form acknowledgments, internal sign-offs). For binding e-signatures with audit trails, use a service like DocuSign that adds identity verification and a tamper-evident seal.
Can I sign multiple pages?
Yes — drop the signature onto each page that needs one. Drag to reposition; resize via the corner handle.
Type, draw, or upload — which is best?
Draw with a stylus / trackpad for the most realistic-looking signature, type for quick acknowledgments, and upload a transparent PNG signature image if you have a saved scan.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device, and there is no server component for this tool.
