Word to PDF
.docx → PDF
Word to PDF is on the roadmap. In the meantime, explore the other pdf tools.
What is Word to PDF?
Convert a Microsoft Word .docx document into a PDF, in your browser, with no upload to a third-party converter. Preserves text formatting, headings, lists, and inline images. Useful for sharing a final version of a document to readers who don't have Word, applying for jobs (most ATS systems prefer PDF over .docx), or producing a printable copy with locked layout.
How do I use Word to PDF?
- Drop a .docx file onto the upload zone.
- Click Convert.
- Wait a few seconds while the tool renders pages.
- Click Download to save the PDF.
When should I use Word to PDF?
Word to PDF is for the .docx → PDF direction. For Excel sheets, use Excel to PDF. To go the other way (PDF → Word), use PDF to Word. To combine several converted documents into one, run each through this tool then use PDF Merge.
Will the PDF look exactly like Word?
Very close. Standard fonts, headings, lists, tables, and inline images come through cleanly. Custom fonts that are not embedded in the .docx fall back to a similar substitute, which can shift line breaks slightly.
Does it preserve hyperlinks?
Yes. Internal links (to bookmarks within the doc) and external URLs stay clickable in the output PDF.
What is the maximum file size?
Up to 25 MB comfortably. Very large embedded images may need to be compressed first with Image Compressor.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Your files never leave your device, and there is no server component for this tool.
